    Experience at Work

As a proprietary trader in the equities derivatives division of the investment banking division of the third-largest Dutch bank, Kuchanny started his professional career there in 1998.

He worked at the London branch of ABN AMRO Bank for a total of five years. As a Special Situations Proprietary Trader in his first position, he was in charge of creating and maintaining a portfolio of special situation investments while utilizing methods like arbitrage, event-driven, and others to provide a strong return on capital.

By 2003, he had introduced a new trading approach. He had been appointed to the position of Head of Structured Equity Proprietary Trading, which involved overseeing every part of the company, including developing models, creating trades, and investigating and executing trading opportunities.

Christopher Kuchanny started his own business, Revelation Capital Management Ltd., in 2004 after obtaining significant experience at ABN AMRO Bank. He showcased his financial prowess by building a highly profitable track record. Kuchanny served as the company's founder, CEO, and portfolio manager from 2004 until 2021. The Revelation Special Situations Fund (formerly known as "Osmium") was established by Revelation Capital and used a variety of equity-related strategies in all geographical areas.

The fund earned prizes and soon had a solid track record. It also won the 2010 Lipper Award for "Best Hedge Fund over 3 Years" in the Offshore Event Driven Category. To assist businesses in creating value, Revelation's novel strategy combined a unique ImProF Analysis with a "constructivist" philosophy. Revelation, a pioneer in fund management, introduced the first hedge fund share class ever to be valued in gold. To engage in undervalued public-to-private, illiquid public, and private equity opportunities, Revelation Capital has established Revelation Select Investments.

In 2004, Kuchanny introduced The Genesis Foundation simultaneously as the hedge fund. To help a variety of charities, with a special emphasis on supporting the poor, this charitable corporation was set up to receive a portion of as much as 25% of the income from the hedge fund operation. Its mission is to enable people to attain better and long-lasting well-being by removing barriers to leading fulfilling lives in the context of the neighborhood.

Kuchanny has been concentrating on impact investing for a while now, helping businesses that include social and environmental impact in their business plans. He began assembling a portfolio of private equity investments in various worthwhile endeavors in 2017, frequently offering guidance and funding. He founded CKuchanny Consultancy to assist with this, which provides broad consulting and advisory support with a focus on strategy at the Board/C-suite executive level. He offered support to charities and faith-based organizations in addition to corporations, but his services were primarily focused on businesses. Chris joined the Advisory Panel for Mercer's Global Impact & Sustainable Opportunities Funds in January 2022 and started working for the company's Private Equity division. In this capacity, he guides one of the largest fiduciaries in the world as they transition their private equity fund of funds from sustainable to impact investment.
